Non-matriculated (non-degree) students
Registrations will be accepted until the start of the first class. All payments are due at the time of registration. To avoid a late fee of $50, students must be registered and have submitted payment for their courses by the following dates:

Payment may be made by credit card (MasterCard, VISA, Discover, Diners International), personal check, cashier’s check, money order or purchase order/company letter authorizing billing, depending on registration method.

| Course Fees |
All students pay the same course fees during May Term and Summer Sessions, regardless of state of legal residence.
Some courses and labs have a materials fee in addition to the course fee. The materials fee typically ranges from $15 - $35. This fee is automatically added to the course fee and charged to your credit card payment at the time of registration.
The course fees below are per session for May and Summer Sessions 2008:

Non-degree students pay an enrollment fee of $65; degree students pay an enrollment fee of $45. This fee is non-refundable and payable only once, and covers any enrollment in May Term and/or Summer Sessions, regardless of the number of campuses or sites attended or the number of classes, credits or sessions involved. |

| Student Activity Fee |
| |
This $16 per session is charged for Storrs campus Summer Sessions only, and is refundable if a student drops all Storrs classes for a particular Summer Session before that session begins. The fee applies to Summer Session 1 and/or Summer Session 2 only; there is no activity fee in any intensive session.
There is no activity fee for May Term. |

| Service Fee |
| |
A charge of $25 is assessed for a check not honored by a bank for any reason. |

| Account Balances |
| A past due balance at the University may prohibit us from accepting a registration. Payments may be applied to past due balances before May Term and Summer Sessions balances as per the University’s payment application schedule. All fees for May Term and Summer Sessions must be paid according to the schedule and prior to the start of class. |
