Real-Time Class Information

For up-to-the-minute seat availability, course schedules, course descriptions, and prerequisites, please go to UConn's online Student Administration System and search for your course.  The instructions below will guide you through the search process. 

• In the popup window, click SA Self Service.
• Click Learner Services.
• Click Catalog.
• Click View Schedule of Classes. This will bring you to the Class Search page. 
• Select the Institution (University of Connecticut) by clicking on the down arrow.
• In the Term box type 1085.
• Click Basic Search. This will bring up the Basic Class Search page.
• Type in the 4 letter subject (department) code.
• If you do not know the code, click the Subject spy glass. This will bring you to the Lookup Subject page. Click Lookup. This will produce a list of departments. Click the one that you want.  This will return you to the Basic Class Search page.
• Type in the 3-4 character course number, if you know the specific course you are interested in.
• Select a Campus.
• Click Search. 
• A page listing course schedule information for the requested course at that campus will appear. If there is more than one course listed, find the course section that you want then click the Course Details icon on right to bring up the appropriate course schedule information.
• To view course descriptions and course prerequisites (recommended before registering):
  Click the Course Catalog Detail link on the top or bottom of the course schedule information page.

As a non-degree student, you will need the information you’ve found to register using our secure online registration form or our downloadable pdf registration form. 

Therefore, we suggest you print out the course information or keep the popup window open when you return to the Center for Continuing Studies web site to register.
