Goal: To develop a systemic recareering pipeline of education and employment guidance for 40-70 year olds looking to make mid-career and “traditional retirement years” transitions into managerial positions within the Nonprofit sector.
Status: Pilot engaged, Encore!Hartford,as a multi-agency pilot for the state.

Status: Planned launch for Spring 2010.
Bachelor Degree Completion Program in Nonprofit Leadership
Purpose: To support the advancement of emerging leaders currently working in the Nonprofit sector, who are reflective of their communities, to leadership positions within the Nonprofit sector.
The degree completion program will allow individuals with associate degree specialties (such as gerontology, youth services, drug rehabilitation and other social service specialties), currently working in the Nonprofit sector, to gain organizational management skills through the completion of their bachelor degree and provide them with a stronger competitive advantage in applying for leadership roles in the Nonprofit sector.
Status: Planned launch for Summer 2010.
Engaged Scholarship
Bringing together Connecticut Nonprofit practitioners and faculty of the University of Connecticut to discuss, discover and implement undergraduate and graduate research that strengthens the Nonprofit sector, benefits the citizens of the state of Connecticut and supports the academic plan and research goals of the University of Connecticut.
