RETREAT AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Important Payment Information for Use of Purchase Order for Online Registration:
If you plan to use a Purchase Order to complete online registration, you must receive prior validation. Please call 1-860-486-2947 and have the Purchase Order number, maximum amount of Purchase Order, valid start and end date, issuing organization or company name, address, and contact number ready.

  • When: October 14, 2009 ending March 10, 2010 (on Wednesdays from 4-7:00 p.m.)
  • Where: University of Connecticut Greater Hartford Campus, 1800 Asylum Avenue, Library Building (3rd Floor Executive Conference Room #308), West Hartford, CT
  • Participants: Program Coordinators, Program Managers Assistant Directors
  • Fee:  $895 (includes handout materials and campus parking)
  • Texts: Required texts for the course are Good to Great and the Social Sectors by Jim Collins and Forces for Good by Leslie Crutchfield and Heather McCleod Grant.

Parking:
Parking is available in the large student lot located directly across from the campus on Troutbrook Drive.  Please contact LInda Friedman, Program Manager, at Linda.Friedman@uconn.edu for parking and permit information before the start of the course.

Confirmation:
Participants registering for the course will receive a confirmation letter including pertinent program information, directions to the campus and program location. Please call 860-486-3231 if you have not received a confirmation letter at least one week prior to the course.

Cancellations/Refunds:
If you are unable to attend, you must withdraw by calling the Student Services office at 1-877-892-6264 (toll free) or 860-486-4905 during office hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The registration fee, minus a $35 processing fee, is refundable if you call by October 7, 2009. Refunds will not be issued after this date.

Substitutions: 
For possible participant substitutions before the start of the course, please contact Linda Friedman, Program Manager, at 860-486-9318. The Center for Continuing Studies reserves the right to change program speakers and presenters as warranted.

Online Registration: Requires entering your date of birth.
