CPCU 551 – Commercial Property Risk Management and Insurance
This course covers commercial property loss exposures and the insurance and non-insurance techniques used to manage them. The course includes a study of property risk management and risk control; the building and personal property coverage forms; flood, earthquake and other specialty forms, business income loss exposures, inland marine and ocean marine cargo insurance; crime insurance; equipment breakdown, and surety bonds.

CPCU 551 – Exam Review
If you are self studying or taking an online class and would like just a review session, this 4 hour exam review course can be signed up for independently from the prep class. (This exam review is already included for students enrolled in the CPCU 551 class above.)

CPCU 552 – Commercial Liability Risk Management and Insurance
This course covers commercial liability loss exposures and the insurance and non-insurance techniques used to manage them. The course includes a study of commercial general liability, business auto, garage & motor carrier, workers compensation and employers liability, professional liability, environmental insurance, aviation, marine, excess & umbrella liability. The course also examines risk control and advanced risk management techniques.

CPCU 553 – Survey of Personal Risk Management, Insurance and Financial Planning
The purpose of this course is to give Commercial Lines students an understanding of personal loss exposures along with insurance and financial planning techniques to manage them. Topics covered include: automobile insurance and society, the personal auto policy, homeowners insurance, homeowners endorsements and rating, other residential insurance, other personal property and liability insurance, personal financial planning, life insurance, health and disability insurance, investment planning, planning for retirement and estate planning. There is a waiver for CPCU 553 students who hold INS Certificates.
