The topics in this course are technology and insurance information, managing a system, needs analysis, effect on marketing/policy processing, technology in underwriting and claims, agency management systems, internet insurance marketing, internet sales and service, agency/company interface, information security, and industry level information requirements.

AIT 134 - The Strategic Management of Information
This is the third of three courses in the Associate in Information Technology designation program. Topics covered include Creating Business Advantage with Information Technology, Business Models, Networked Businesses, Internetworking Infrastructure, Secure IT Services, Managing Diverse IT Infrastructures, Organizing and Leading the IT Function, Outsourcing, Portfolio Approach to Projects, Data Warehousing and Data Mining.
