Dr. GanorThis 5-day program was developed by the University of Connecticut in consultation with the Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT). It will feature counter-terrorism strategy workshops by Dr. Boaz Ganor, ICT's Founder and Exective Director.

There will also be workshops on Global Security, Crisis Communication/Leadership, Global Supply Chain Protection, and Preparing for a World Health Crisis (pandemic influenza) taught by internationally known subject matter experts including Dr. Kirsty Duncan, Barry Lynn, Bruce Blythe and Dr. Robert Bach.

The discussions and workshops will examine:

  • the vulnerability of our global business systems to terrorism and natural disasters and
  • the importance of crisis recognition and leadership in an insecure world.

Who Should Attend

  • Corporate Security Executives
  • Business Executives
  • Government Security and Law Enforcement Officers
  • Military Officers
  • Emergency Management Directors
  • Health Officials
  • Risk Management/Continuity Executives

In order to remain competitive, today’s business and government leaders must make strategic decisions related to increased global competition and vulnerable supply chains. Executives are challenged with balancing the risk of business interruptions with the added costs associated with an increase in their level of resilience.
