Fees

• Certificate Series: The complete certificate course fee is $1425 (charged at $285 per course).
  
• Individual courses are available at $325 each.
  
• HIMSS Member Discount: A discounted fee of $1295 for the full certificate (charged at $259 per course). Individual courses are discounted at $285. If you do not have your member number available, please call the HIMSS office at 312-664-4467 prior to registering.

Due to the processing time for system access codes (NetIDs) and passwords, we strongly urge that you register at least one week prior to the start of your selected course(s) to avoid unnecessary delays in accessing the course material.

After Registration

Approximately two weeks before the course start date, first-time participants will receive an automated email with instructions for establishing access to their course online, after registering.

Current students can access future courses using the same log on procedures and ID used to access their first course. 

Access to courses will not be available until the designated start date.

Refund & Cancellation Policy:

• If unable to participate in your course(s), you may withdraw by emailing the Program Manager at cpdinfo@uconn.edu or calling the Student & Financial Services office at 877-892-6264 (toll-free) or 860-486-4905, during their business hours, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm U.S. Eastern Time.
  
  
• Informing the instructor does not qualify as official withdrawal from the class.
  
  
• The registration fee is refundable, less a $35-per-course processing fee, if you call before noon on the Friday prior to the first day of your course(s). Later notification negates refund eligibility.
  
  
• If withdrawing from a partially completed certificate program, the refund amount will be the registration fee less a $35-per-course processing fee for all courses in the series not yet attempted and less the full-price course fee for all courses attempted, whether complete or incomplete.
  
  
• If you need to change your schedule or re-enroll in your course(s) for completion, a $50 re-registration fee per course will apply.
