Overview of Programs:

Healthcare IT, an online noncredit certificate program, designed to meet the educational needs of a healthcare or Information Technology (IT) staff member, was developed in collaboration with the University of Connecticut Center for Continuing Studies, the School of Business Administration and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).

The School Nurse Emergency Medical Services for Children Program's goal is to reduce morbidity and mortality in children and youths who are injured or become ill at school. For Registered Nurses, this three-day workshop is presented by a team of highly-qualified instructors and includes lectures, visual aids, an assessment demonstration, triage and critical problem-solving scenarios with emergency medical services personnel.
