TextsThe required text and materials for CCMA IA and IB are the Handbook for Connecticut Assessors, the Board of Assessment Appeals (BAA) Handbook and State Statutes, Chapter 203, Property Assessment and Chapter 204a, Tax Relief. The Handbook for Connecticut Assessors will be available for purchase for a fee of $60 on Sunday afternoon, May 31 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Monday morning, June 1 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., at the registration table located in the lobby of the Nathan Hale Inn and Conference Center. Visit the CAAO web site to download copies of the BAA Handbook (go to the "Resources" tab at the top of the page, then click on the "Handbook" tab, and choose "Handbook for Board of Assessment Appeals"), and the State Statutes, chapters 203 and 204a (click on "State Statues" in the center of the page). The required text for CCMA IIA, IIB and III is Property Assessment Valuation, 2nd Edition. The fee for the book is $27.50, and must be ordered in advance and paid for at the time of registration. Books will be available for pick-up on Sunday afternoon, May 31 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Monday morning, June 1 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., at the registration table located in the lobby of the Nathan Hale Inn and Conference Center.
