The school has a dual purpose:

• To provide an educational program for those interested in the Certified Connecticut Municipal Assessor (CCMA) designation, and
• To serve as a forum where assessors can present and explore solutions to professional challenges.

The 2008 School offers six courses and an assessment administration workshop that will run simultaneously. The School is open to all Connecticut assessors, members of boards of assessment appeals and other residents concerned with the problems of property tax administration on a space-available basis.
