All matriculated and non-degree students are assigned a Net ID by the
University. Your personal Net ID allows you access to Vista, the online
learning platform. Enter your NetID in lowercase when you login to Vista.
Note: Non-credit students should see our NetID Activation page for non-credit students before proceeding.
If you do not know your Net ID, please follow the directions below:
- Go to the web address (URL): https://netid.uconn.edu/
- Select the link Find your NetID.
- Enter your Last Name, Date of Birth, and PeopleSoft or Payroll ID and click the SEARCH button.
- If your NetID has been assigned it will show on the screen (it takes
up to two working days from registration and payment to process Net
ID's).
- When you have your Net ID, follow the directions on the screen to
set a password. It will prompt you to fill in some information.
Note: Your PeopleSoft ID is not your NetID.
