Welcome to our online courses. This page includes important information for students enrolled in our online courses.

CREDIT COURSES
This site contains important information regarding your online course. Many of our online courses have an assignment that is due the first week of classes, so please carefully review this list of key items to prepare for your online course.
It is your responsibility to review these instructions prior to the start of the Summer Session 1 and 4 which begins on June 2, 2008. Summer Session 2 begions on July 14, 2008. We strongly recommend that you log into the course on the first day of the semester since assignments will be due the first week.
1. Net ID. To access your online course, you will need a Net ID.
If you need assistance in looking up your Net ID or changing/setting your password, refer to our Net ID information page.
2. Computer Settings (from the Learning Resource Center). This information sheet explains how to set up your Internet browser for Vista.
3. HuskyCT (WebCT Vista) Log in. After you've set up your Net ID account and computer, go to http://vista.uconn.edu/, and log in using your username and password. Courses will appear on your "MyVista Courses" screen on the first day of classes. If you have any trouble, contact technical support.
4. Textbooks. Textbooks are required for most of our online courses, so it is important to purchase your text as soon as possible. For course textbook requirements, go to our Schedule of Online Courses and click on the appropriate course title. This will bring you to the course syllabus which includes textbook information. 5. Other Materials. Students in the following courses (when offered) will be sent a CD which contains supplemental course materials: AH 280, AH 282, AH 284, OSH 380, HSL 313, GPPS 325, GS 208, HSA 302, HSA 324, OSH 271.
Students in ISKM 215, ISKM 217, ISKM 218, ISKM 219, ISKM 220, ISKM 222, ISKM 224, ISKM 226, ISKM 230 and ISKM 231 (when offered) will be assigned a Linux account userid and password from their instructor.
6. Technical Support. Students in ISKM 215, ISKM 217, ISKM 218, ISKM 219, ISKM 220, ISKM 222, ISKM 224, ISKM 226, ISKM 230 and ISKM 231 should contact their instructor for assistance with their Linux accounts. Additional information is also available at: http://itstudents.ccs.uconn.edu/index.html.
