Undergraduate Course Descriptions
For course descriptions and prerequisites, use the University's online Student Administration System.
Click the View Student Administration System link
at the bottom of this page. A popup window will give you access
to the system. The instructions below will guide you through
the process.
To register, you will return to this site and use our secure online registration form. |

Instructions for Viewing the University
Student Administration System (SAS) |
| To view a course description and prerequisites: |
- Click SA Self Service. Click Learner Services. Click Catalog. Click View Course Catalog. This
will bring you to the Course Catalog Search
page.
- Select the Institution ( University
of Connecticut) by clicking on the down arrow.
- Type in the 4 letter subject
(department) code. If
you do not know the code, click the Subject spy
glass. This
will bring you to the Lookup Subject page. Click
Lookup. This will produce a list of departments. Click
the one that you want. You will return to the Basic Class Search page. Type in the 3-4 character course number, if
known.
- Click Search.
- The Catalog Search Results
will provide you with the course description
as well as prerequisite (Enrollment Requirement Group)
information.

If you need the course description and prerequisite information
from the Student Administration System in order to make
decisions about registration, we suggest you print it out
before closing the pop-up window. You will need to return to the Center for Continuing Studies web site.
