Bachelor of General Studies (BGS)

The Bachelor of General Studies Program is a flexible individualized undergraduate degree program for adults with an associates's degree or at least 60 college credits.

Master of Professional Studies (MPS)

MPS allows working adults to earn an online graduate degree that is flexible enough to meet evolving interdisciplinary workforce demands.

Non-Degree Study

Non-Degree Study allows you to take UConn courses for academic credit, even if you have not been admitted to the University. Take classes during fall and spring semesters, as well as Winter Intersession, May Term and Summer Sessions.

Academic Partnerships and Special Programs

The Academic Partnership Program in Emerging Fields is a new program initiative designed under the direction of the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and Regional Campus Administration. The goal of the Program is to inspire and foster experimental, interdisciplinary academic programs and research in emerging fields that are more difficult to pilot within the traditional structures.  Academic Partnerships and Special Programs also furnishes specialized programs for businesses, industries, and agencies which help employers and employees keep pace with change in a variety of fields, especially those driven by technology. CEUs are available for many programs.

Bishop Center Meeting Room Rentals offers event planning, marketing and audio/visual services for events held at the Bishop Center or at other locations statewide. Bishop Center Room Rentals can accommodate 10 to 200 people and your meeting planner will coordinate all your meeting needs, including catering, facility set-up and registration services.

Labor Education

The Labor Education Center offers quality non-credit courses, conferences, workshops, seminars, residential institutes and special programs year-round at locations around the state.

Community School of the Arts

CSA offers a comprehensive selection of educational programs and individual instruction in music, art, drama, and movement for children (ages 6 months-13 years)), teens and adults. Vacations Arts camps, as well as many Summer Arts and Music programs are also available.
