Placement Test Information

All NEW students must take a Placement Test. 

Registration for Placement Tests

• If you have a credit card and an email address, you can register for this test using our secure online registration system.
• In person registration will also take place in Room 101 at the Stamford Campus of the University of Connecticut.
• In person registration times are:
  
  

  Nov. 2 – Dec. 18, Jan. 4 - 14
  Mondays & Tuesdays	9:00 a.m.- 12:00 noon, 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.
  Wednesdays & Thursdays	11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, 1:30 - 7:00 p.m.

• New students must sign up (register) for the placement test before the day of the exam.
• Testing Fee: $30.00 (check, money order, MasterCard, Discover, or VISA - NO CASH).

Placement Tests

• The placement test takes two hours. Please arrive on time! Latecomers will not be admitted.
  
  
• As indicated on the placement test schedule below, you may register for courses after the tests.  Full payment is required.  Please check the course registration page for fees. 

• Please do not call the office for test results. You will receive your test results when you register for courses
  (Dec. 16, 2009 - Jan.19, 2010).
  
  
• If you do not register for any courses, you may receive your test results on Friday, January 22, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
  
  
• Parking: Please park in Visitors' Parking on the second level of the UConn parking garage.
