Course Registration Information
Upcoming Registration:  April 28 - May 7, 2008
The Summer 2008 classes run from
May 12 - June 30 (7 weeks)
No classes: May 26 (Memorial Day)

To register for a course, please come to the ALP office, Room 101 at the Stamford Campus.  We accept checks, money orders, MasterCard, Discover, or VISA (NO CASH).

Registration Dates

Note: All new students must take a placement test before registering for courses. Students may register for courses immediately after some placement tests (look for the "*") on the placement test date chart. Note that full payment is required.

Registration will take place in Room 101 at the Stamford Campus of the University of Connecticut on the following dates:  [All course offerings are subject to enrollment.]

All dates below are for new and returning students.

Monday April 28 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday April 29 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 1:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday April 30 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Thursday May 1 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 2:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Friday May 2 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Saturday May 3 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Monday May 5 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday May 6 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday May 7 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Fees

Course Fees:   For classes that meet:
$285   (6 hours per week/7 weeks = 42 hours total) per course
$195   (4 hours per week/7 weeks = 28 hours total) per course
Registration Fee:
$25   per student (All students must pay this fee when they register for classes.)
Parking Fee:
$10   (All new students who will use the UConn parking garage must pay this fee.)

Refunds

Refunds will be given only before the first day of classes according to the following:

  • If you withdraw within 3 business days prior to the first class, you will receive a 50% refund less a $25 Storrs/Stamford processing fee.
  • If you withdraw before 3 business days prior to the first class, you will receive a 100% refund less a $25 Storrs/Stamford processing fee.
