Summer Programs~2013

young boy potterEach summer, in addition to continued private music study, hundreds of Community School of the Arts students participate in CSA Summer School of the Arts workshops, group classes and summer events. These programs provide a concentrated experience where students learn, bond, and form new ideas and interests. Don't miss out on CSA's lively summer programs. Call NOW to register!

Private Music Lessons Private lessons are offered on all instruments and voice. We welcome beginners, intermediate, and advanced students of all ages.

young girl painterArts Explorers 6-12 year olds can explore a variety of art materials while learning art vocabulary, art history and the basic elements and principles of art. This summer’s theme is “A Day at  the Beach” with different activities scheduled around sub-topics for each week. Sign up for one or more half-day or whole day weeks.

Weeklong Arts Workshops Our series of intensive workshops include weeklong experiences in a focus of the visual arts (2D Drawing, Puppetry, Art and Science, or Pottery) or music (Keyboards for Kids, Rock & Roll Workshop, or Week of Jazz). There‘s even Musical Theater for the youngest of singers and actors.

Visual Arts Classes (for Children, Families and Adults) We offer classes once a week for 6 weeks for adults, teens and families. This summer’s offerings are Summer Pottery I, Summer Pottery II, and Family Clay

Instrumental Music Workshops and Festivals Don’t miss these opportunities to stretch your technique and musical knowledge! These workshops, for students entering grades 7-11, will include interactive performances by professional musicians, workshops and classes on performance skills and more.

Musical Theater Workshop Students entering grades 1-6 will sing, dance and act in a fun performance of Peter Pan for everyone to enjoy!
