Map/Directions

Most music lessons and classes are held on the scenic grounds of the Depot Campus of the University of Connecticut, in the "Hebron," "Tolland," “Willington” and "Vernon" cottages.

A UConn shuttle bus, the Apartment Shuttle, runs regularly from the UConn Storrs campus to the CSA home at the Depot Campus. For a schedule or information, visit UConn Department of Transportation or call 860-486-1448.

Festivals and other special events are held at UConn's Department of Music and at von der Mehden Recital Hall.

From ROUTE 84
From Route 84, take exit 68 (Route 195) and follow Route 195 South toward UConn. Turn RIGHT onto Route 32 South at Mobil Station. Turn LEFT onto Route 44. Go through 2 traffic lights, then turn RIGHT onto Weaver Rd. Follow signs on Weaver Rd. to the Community School of the Arts. We are the last cul-de-sac of buildings on the RIGHT (Witryol Place). The office is in the Tolland Building with the Red Door.

From MANCHESTER/BOLTON/COVENTRY
Follow Route 44 East toward UConn. Cross Route 32. After crossing Route 32, go through 2 traffic lights, then turn RIGHT onto Weaver Rd. Follow signs on Weaver Rd. to the Community School of the Arts. We are the last cul-de-sac of buildings on the RIGHT (Witryol Place). The office is in the Tolland Building with the Red Door.

From UCONN MAIN (STORRS) CAMPUS
Take North Eagleville Road from the North Garage, past the police station. At first stop sign, take RIGHT onto Hunting Lodge Rd. At the end of Hunting Lodge Rd., turn LEFT onto Birch Rd. After approximately½ mile, the road will turn sharply to the RIGHT up a hill; at this point you will go STRAIGHT into the back entrance of the DEPOT CAMPUS (do not turn left down dirt road). The Community School of the Arts is the first cul-de-sac of buildings on the LEFT (Witryol Place). The office is in the Tolland Building with the Red Door.

From EAST OF UCONN ON ROUTE 44
From Ashford or other points east of Storrs, take Route 44 West toward Hartford. Cross Route 195, which leads to the Storrs campus, at the intersection known as Four Corners. Continue on Route 44 for approximately 1 ½ miles. At the top of a long hill there will be a greenhouse on your LEFT (Hockanum Greenhouse).  Take a LEFT on the road directly before the greenhouse onto Bonemill Rd. Bonemill Rd. off of Route 44 near Hockanum Greenhouse. Turn RIGHT as Bonemill takes a hard left turn. CSA cottages are the first on your left.The office is in the Tolland Building with the Red Door.

From the SOUTH
From the Willimantic area, take Route 32 North. At the intersection of Route 44, turn RIGHT onto Route 44 East. Go through 2 traffic lights, then turn RIGHT onto Weaver Rd. Follow signs on Weaver Rd. to the Community School of the Arts. We are the last cul-de-sac of buildings on the RIGHT (Witryol Place). The office is in the Tolland Building with the Red Door.
