Chamber
Music and Ensemble Programs
To participate in a
performance ensemble is often the primary reason students learn an instrument or study voice. Ensemble participation is also one of the best
opportunities students have to apply and hone the skills they are
learning in private lessons. The Community School of the Arts is
committed to providing chamber music or large ensemble opportunities
to all students who are interested.
Chamber Music Ensembles
Chamber Music
ensembles are generally formed after the semester of private study
is underway. Playing level, age, experience and commitment to an
established rehearsal schedule are key factors in the formation
of these groups. The number of sessions and number of students in
a group determines fees. Pianists, winds, brass, string players,
and vocalists of all ages are encouraged to participate. Participants are guided by a CSA facuty member. Call the CSA office, at 860-486-1073, for fee details. Schedule #AN 1021
