Non-Credit Programs
Short Courses (non-credit): Short courses for local unions, central labor bodies and labor management committees are conducted at a time and place convenient to the group. Classes usually meet for 4, 6, or 8 two-hour weekly sessions with limited enrollment to ensure maximum participation. Typical subjects include:
Workshops/Conferences: Workshops, conferences, seminars and residential institutes are arranged through joint planning, development and administration with the sponsoring organization, varying in length from a single day, to a weekend or week-long event. The Center can provide program ideas, speakers, films and resource materials; programs may be held at the University's conference center or at off-campus locations.
