Registration (PeopleSoft)/Student Email Accounts
All University of Connecticut BGS degree students self register online through PeopleSoft, the University’s Student Administration System. As a BGS student, you may register for courses year round via this system, as well as perform many other academic functions.
Using the PeopleSoft System
- All admitted students receive their UConn PeopleSoft ID number with their letter of admission.
- Refer to the Interactive UConn Help for PeopleSoft guide for step-by-step instructions to using the many features of the system, including registration, and class and schedule searches. Additional features include accessing grades, unofficial transcripts, degree progress report, and the graduation application.
Your BGS advisor will be available to assist, should you have any questions or concerns.
Student Email Accounts for Registered Students
A HuskyMail email account is automatically assigned to every registered student. HuskyMail is used to send vital UConn information and official UConn correspondence. It is your responsibility to check it often. You can access HuskyMail from home, on campus, or virtually anywhere you have web access. Information on all computing services available to UConn students can be found at:
