Focus in Law and Society

The BGS program focus in Law and Society emphasizes concepts of law, judicial procedures, the framework of legal institutions in modern society, social justice and social problems, public safety and criminal justice. This focus serves students whose interests are in such areas as law, government and public safety.

Focus Requirement
24 credits minimum, with at least 18 credits at the 200s level.
 
  Three tracks of study are offered:

= Criminal Justice
   
G
= Government
   
P
= Pre-Law
    Please note that a track need not be selected. However, the codes C, G and P appear with the course listed below, to guide course selection decisions within the tracks, if desired.
