Focus in Information Technology

The BGS program focus in IT is designed for those seeking a formalized information application and technology orientation for a business environment. It is also for individuals already in a business environment who want more IT skills. This focus was developed in conjunction with Norwalk Community College (NCC), Housatonic Community College (HCC), and the University of Connecticut Institute for Technology Information (CITI). It is assumed that students following this BGS focus will have some experience in the use of personal computers.

The courses that follow are UConn courses. Several have equivalent courses at NCC and HCC, which can be transferred into the BGS program. For further information on this BGS focus, as well as information on equivalent courses at NCC and HCC, please contact the BGS office at UConn's Stamford campus.
