Rules
  • All registrations must be received by published deadline dates to avoid a $50 late fee.
  • Payment is due at time of registration.
  • Course registration through this site is not immediate; our staff will input your registration into the University’s PeopleSoft system, in the order it was received. Confirmation of your successful class registration will be sent to you by U.S. mail, not via phone or email.
  • Credits earned from UConn courses are transferable to most other institutions. Credits earned may also be used toward acceptance into specific UConn degree programs, with some restrictions. Please note that non-degree status does not constitute, guarantee, or imply admission into any program at UConn.
  • Check your student email account regularly to keep up to date with the latest student information.
  • Refer to the Student Services page for a comprehensive overview of CCS Registration or select topics from side navigation bar.
  • Please speak with an advisor before registering if you:
    • need to discuss course selections, types of programs available at UConn, course prerequisites, etc. or
    • need to register for more than 8 credits or
    • are a high school student seeking to take UConn undergraduate classes as a non-degree student.
  • If you have been dismissed from the University of Connecticut and have not yet been readmitted, you must see an advisor at your home campus prior to each semester to fill out the necessary paperwork before registering.

Requirements
  • Non-degree students must have a high school diploma or equivalency to enroll in undergraduate classes.
  • In most cases, a bachelor’s degree is required to enroll in graduate classes.
  • In certain cases, non-degree students need special permission to register.
  • Non-degree students are responsible for meeting course prerequisites.
  • International students who are not citizens of the United States of America and not UConn degree-seeking students must present a copy of INS classification or visa when registering. Submit the following form when registering.
